Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FlayrLabs ("we", "us") collects, uses, and
protects your information when you use the Trivial mobile app and related
services (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique
identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name. You may also play anonymously, in
which case only an anonymous identifier is created. You may set a display name.
- Gameplay data. Scores, answers, topics played, streaks, and leaderboard
standings, so we can run the game, save your progress, and show leaderboards.
- Purchase records. When you buy a subscription or a hint pack, Apple
processes the payment. We receive a transaction identifier and subscription status from
Apple. We never receive or store your credit card or payment details.
- Device & diagnostic data. Basic device type, app version, and
anonymized crash/performance diagnostics to keep the App reliable.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the game, save progress, and sync across your devices.
- To run leaderboards, friends, and multiplayer rooms.
- To process and validate subscriptions and in-app purchases.
- To improve the App, fix bugs, and prevent abuse or cheating.
Third-party services
We share the minimum data needed with service providers that help us run Trivial:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases
(privacy).
- Supabase (self-hosted by FlayrLabs) — account, gameplay, and leaderboard
data storage.
- Google Gemini API — generates trivia questions. Topic prompts are sent
to generate questions; we do not send your personal information
(privacy).
- Superwall — presents subscription offers and measures paywall
performance (privacy).
Data sharing & sale
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third
parties for their own advertising or marketing.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and
associated data at any time by emailing
support@flayrlabs.com. We will delete your data
except where we must retain limited records (e.g. purchase receipts) to comply with law.
Children
Trivial is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact
us and we will remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete
your personal information. To exercise these rights, email
support@flayrlabs.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating
the "Last updated" date above.
